The Pink Tower School has been delicately put together by Sapana Jain
This kindergarten space has been decorated to optimise the use of space while ensuring that it is child friendly. The interiors have an open space plan with the use of soft toned pastel shades that are highlighted with abundant natural sunlight filtering in through arched windows and an arched grill façade. The furniture is tailored to suit the height of toddlers and has round edges to maintain safety standards across the school.
The Nap Room is designed with a soothing mural wall art depicting the caricature of the moon and sky in soft tones. The furniture is made using PVC for easy maintenance. Also, there is an open shelf toy storage for the children.
The passage ways are all arched and have arch lighting to enhance the arch ceiling. The stairway is shaded in shades of blue and made using recycled plywood, and its side has a protective mesh to ensure child safety. The floors too are made using plywood rubber for kids’ safety.
The rooms – the music room, dining room, AV room and others – have specific wall art murals that depict the theme of that room, along with complementing ceiling art. The ceilings have alphabets, cross and knots and other innovative light fittings.
The interior is designed bearing in mind the avoidance of any negative space, has optimal use of furniture with inbuilt shelves, and sees the use of ceiling height and mirrors to amplify the room dimensions.
Project Summary
Pink Tower is a thoughtfully designed kindergarten space that maximises functionality while remaining safe and child-friendly. Soft pastel interiors, abundant natural light, and arched elements create a warm and engaging environment. Custom-sized furniture with rounded edges, safe flooring, and protective features ensure children’s well-being. Themed rooms, playful murals, and innovative lighting add creativity, while smart space planning enhances openness and comfort throughout.
