Sapana is the founder and principal at Sapana Jain Studio, an Indian designer with over a decade in the industry, whose work has grown from custom residences and bespoke pieces for high-profile private clients, to include commercial projects, both nationally and internationally and been featured in many publications. Sapana’s distinctive design style seamlessly blends classic luxury with a touch of contemporary colour, style and whimsy. She creates multi-layered experiences and environments, that not only speak of elegance, but sooth the soul and often include a touch of playfulness, all of which perfectly reflect her personality.

Our Story
2014
Where it all began
Sapana founded her first design practice in Mumbai, I Heart Homes. What started as a small, passion-driven studio quickly grew into warm, thoughtfully detailed homes shaped around real stories and everyday living.
2017
Growing the vision
The studio expanded its footprint with larger residential projects across Mumbai. This period defined Sapana's emerging aesthetic — layered, textural, and deeply personal.
2019
Inspired by the world
With projects in India and overseas, the studio explored new categories — commercial spaces, curated shoots, brand content, and product development. This phase deepened the studio's narrative-driven approach to design.
2021
A broader canvas
The studio evolved into Sapana Jain Studio, marking a new chapter of sophistication and clarity. The work expanded into luxury residential interiors, curated styling assignments, and more refined collaborations with design-led brands.
2023
Becoming Sapana Jain Studio
Extensive travel became a vital part of Sapana's creative process. Design fairs, boutique ateliers, and cultural explorations across Asia and Europe began influencing the studio's materiality, colour sensibilities, and spatial expression.
2024
Immersive design experiences
From Maison & Object in Paris to innovative centres like Grohe and Sonare, the year strengthened the studio's global design perspective. Editorial styling, travel-inspired concepts, and elevated material exploration took centre stage.
